      Pros

      it was a very good experience and a great company to start working for as a recent college graduate at an entry level position

      Cons

      new hirers and interns are sometimes left unattended to and they can go for weeks to months without doing any real work.

      Pros

      Good benefits. Well respected company. Flexible working hours for salaried employees. Lots of resources through the Dow network. Not too far from Philadelphia or Baltimore.

      Cons

      The Newark site location is pretty bad: awkwardly placed and an unattractive working environment. Aloof management, seemingly uninterested in employees' professional development. There are some good efforts put forth by Dow (e.g., professional development, training), but employees seem resentful or apathetic in following through for some reason.

      Pros

      There is an opportunity for variety of work and exposure to areas outside of your discipline. A major plus is the ability to network with global colleagues and leverage best practices from all regions of operations.

      Cons

      The work culture is unique to the company which is true of every company but telling the story of the culture is not as accurate as it could be. Flexible work environment: Not exactly true as there have been several sitautions noted where there is no sound business case on NOT allowing the flexibility but due to leader bias the answer is no. Doesn't resonate with the culture story being told.
