Flexibility -9-80 work schedule, good people to work with, Internal training is good.

Cons

Pay is average to bad, forced ranking yearly is not helpful to the employee. Leaders should have the option to give a performance review without forced ranking to avoid mixed signals.

Competitive pay, nice benefits (401k matching, health insurance, the basics), safety is king

Cons

Management is in another geography, so you're not visible for growth opportunities Eliminated flexible work schedules (working 9/80s or 4/10s) for R&D Eliminated perks like free coffee in some buildings No budgets for anything Company gets more bureaucratic everytime the stock market hiccups (lots of tape to go through for even doing the smallest things)

Very good company. Strong player in the chemical sector. Number 2 chemical company in the U.S. Pay was very good. Great benefits.

Cons

Due to restructuring, some of the training was difficult to obtain. Combining of units made it difficult to get along with other departments
