      Pay is decent, as stated in many reviews learning opportunities abound and despite some reviews I believe pay and benefits are a little better than average.(Note: heritage Rohm and Hass acquired in 2009) Decent opportunity for advancement but that is likely site dependent..

      RIGID work processes and culture. Square peg, round hole and you better like it. This may be typical in giant companies, though..

      People are exceptional If you want flexibility start your own business or get with a smaller company. Both have associated risks of course.

      Cons

      Shareholders rule the board, who rule the management, who rule the worker; all in the name of upper mandate so they have no personal responsibility. That is the way it is with many corporations, detached from the worker.
