      Changing Organization

      Pros

      Excellent benefits, great pay, generous time-off policies, some very good employees, low turn-over, strong safety culture.

      Cons

      The culture of the organization is not positive, management, it was stable until the first round of lay-offs- which shook the foundation and has left many people feeling insecure about the organization and their future, lack of trust in leaders, poor front line leaders, negative/bitter employees, people feel undervalued, very limited career growth opportunities.

      Pros

      The largest pro would be the huge career oppurtunities presented in due time, give the vast size of the firm. Also there is decent work-life balance and satisfactory compensation (even above market average).

      Cons

      The only thing that could be considered as cons would be that a lot of times, micro-politics played a larger role for somebody's promotion, compared to the actual value that the individual could add to the company.

      Pros

      Good company, but not for marketing support employees, who are among the first to get purged in downsizing. Compensation is good, but save your money in case your "job is impacted."

      Cons

      -You're at a disadvantage if you're not an engineer--engineers can do anything, right?! -Company as a whole is not into quality of work. -Company is not good at marketing and spends heavily on outside consultants for new product development -Constant reorganizing . . .many bosses. -Lots of time and money spent on developing work processes that people don't follow
