Pros

Opportunity to gain retail knowledge and experience for a future position at another company. Obtain customer service experience and problem solving skills.

Cons

Upper management will not back you. Too much work with too few hours available. High shrink - responsibility falls on Store Manager regardless of lack of anti theft devices and/or cameras. Extremely high turnover rates.

Pros

They pay is good, and you sometimes get to work with great employees.

Cons

They change your schedule almost 3 times a week without telling you. They will say whatever they want to get you to do what they want you to do. Communication in this company is a joke. They do not move people up. They would rather hire someone else who makes way more than you and then they expect you to train them. They try to write you up for everything, even if you didnt do it, If you are missing hours from your check it will take months to get them, if you even get them back. Hours are never about the same. Sometimes as a full time employee you will have about 35 the next week they will only give you 21. They assign you multiple tasks that take a while to do and expect you to do all of them, recover the store, and do the deposit.
