Not a company that is interested in excellence, just someone to be at the store

Pros

The company is about the same as all chain stores. They do give you the benefits-medical, dental, vision etc.

Cons

Senior management does not show the proper respect to mid-level management. Above average and excellent work are not rewarded, nor is praise given when deserved. They do show the normal attitude of a chain store, more given by you only requires you to give more.

company is constantly looking to grow and offer new opportunities company has laid out every process for their associates very good access to upper management with open door policy

Cons

more physically demanding than one might expect pay is not exactly commensurate with job responsibilities clientele and employee pool not always "cream of the crop" antiquated systems for distribution of direction from the top

Growing company with many opportunities to advance. Fast pace environment, never a dull moment in a work day. Great stepping stone to another career.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations! With a growing company there are many changes to be made, but there is no additional labor to complete tasks. The stores revenue is growing, but there is no increase in man hours to take care of customers, handle stocking and handle store presentation. Store managers are the ones working long hours; usually 10 to 14 hours a day, 6 days a week. It is not an ideal job for anyone with a family. Low employee moral. Low pay for store employees.
