Required 6 days/45+ hours a week for store managers Not enough hours/payroll to keep the store stocked AND cleaned Want to pay associates as little as possible

Been with DG for just over six months after spending 15 years with FD. The transition has been almost effortless. Great company with a strong culture of serving others. Many positive attributes, but to name a few: Well structured business model Executive management operationally engaged Competitive pay scale for all levels Upward mobility at all levels Financially sound

Cons

High turn over at entry level Technical support for store level issues routed through a noneffective call center. Hiring dashboard is cumbersome
