Pros

There are no pros for DG

Cons

Underpaid, expectations are high, corporate only allows a minimum amount of hours to distribute, that's why all DGs look like crap and can't keep help. When a person quits the hours go down instead of up. You're one less person to put stock away but you can't bring another employee in because the total hours went down. CRAZY. Our manager never turned in employee quitting for over 2 weeks because her hours would go down. Corporate had full control over heater. It was the damnest company I've ever seen.

Pros

There is literally no reason to work for this company as it currently operates.

Cons

No actual concept of training. No understanding of the manning needs for store. No security despite multiple armed robbery attempts in district and a woman dying in a breakroom for 10 hours. No concern for employee well-being. No response to long-term HR issues. A complete disregard for the professional opinion of the people who actually work in the store.
