Senior managers have their favourites. Senior managers too close personally to some managers, friendship over code of conduct and ethics. Those who dont suck up or flutter their eyelashes are overlooked even though they do the actual work. There needs to be a shake up of this behaviour, Senior managers should be non biased, have an excellent code of conduct and see through the bull!! Instead of wanting to be 'friends with their teams. Strong leadership is lacking, decision making based on fact, not emotional attachments is the norm. Can be very toxic to those of us who work hard but are time and time again pushed to the side.
