Pros

Wonderful brands if a little ubiquitous, good bonus, relaxed atmosphere.

Cons

Balancing work and life can be a challenge, results driven culture that is confused on how to reward achievement. Progression depends on contact making and ability to say the right things to the right people rather than exploiting genuine talent. Business rarely listens to employees and seems to repeat mistakes. The culture of the celebrity leadership is over present and annoying. Salary growth is pretty poor and based on rather faceless HR decisions about benchmarking with actually no evidence to support their assessment. If you arrive at the top of the pay banding for current grade, salary growth unlikely unless you move role, which is limited by proximity to London and who you know. On the surface, Strong values, but look deep enough, and more a case of lip service than any genuine ambition to adhere. Needs a huge overhaul in management will long terms ambitions rather than yearly reaction to growth and profit issues.

Pros

Great people, excellent culture, amazing benefits

Cons

Leadership lack basic leadership skills. Most leadership don't have people skills and only think about their own careers. This is a major block for career progression for talented people. Too much restructuring

Pros

Great brands, some very good people, bar on site, flexible working arrangements, gym, good compensation schemes

Cons

London HQ in the middle of nowhere, lots of talk but no action to back it up, rotating senior teams with no clue what they should be doing in their jobs sometimes, invisible management with little leadership despite talking about it all the time, very little appetite for improvement, massive waste of funds and inefficiency, frequent reorganisations, career adavncemnt supposedly based on appraisal process but in relaity based on networking only, appraisal process extensive but vague and ultimately not adding any value
