In the past, Diageo had a very good (and deserved) reputation for world-class marketing, however, the leadership focus has changed to immediate sales results, so brand building has been sidelined. As with many large corporations, Diageo is very slow to move or respond to new threats of opportunities. Company values have skewed a bit and there is less respect being shown, which comes with the creep towards a cut-throat culture that's become more political
