      Diageo has a fantastic culture - people are passionate about what they do. Also, there is a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

      Cons

      There is not a clear career path. Senior leadership lacked clear vision and ability to make decisions.

      Pros

      Company has great benefits including brand ambassador program that provides $225 per quarter of alcohol and branded material to all salaried employees.

      Cons

      Culture is intense with cronyism running rampant. People are often promoted primarily based on who you know and who likes you versus merit. The current environment has resulted in a lot of strong contributors being let go or leaving. If you are from the US the likelihood that you will be retained in senior management in North America is low, with global leadership preferring to bring in European leaders who struggle understanding US culture. In their quest to increase profitability they really don't understand how to do it, instead relying on the "flavor of the month" model.
