Pros

Supporting a great product that makes a positive impact on peoples lives. Open to change and improvements. Potential for good compensation package.

Cons

Sub-standard facilities & amenities. Major lack of parking with tiny spaces. Very poor standardization of most operations. Long term strategy constantly changing and affects employees job stability. Too much outsourcing and making cuts to save money in areas that hurt customer service. Long-term employees / middle management still stuck in the small company mentality. Inter-department communication and management often very poor making it difficult to coordinate projects or initiatives. Too dynamic an environment to successfully coordinate continuous improvement. Leadership team taking major stock related compensations and often staying just long enough to receive it while lower level employees are no longer offered such compensation.

Healthcare Company with the Worst Employee Healthcare Coverage

Anonymous employee

Business Outlook

Pros

Company doing well financially and stock is doing very well.

Cons

Worst Health Insurance (United Healthcare). Costs $600+ US / month for a family plan and hardly anything is covered. Out of pocket expenses are through the nose. Lots of silos. Everybody covering their own a55. Salaries are low. 401k matching is a meager 2%. Managers too afraid to defend their own teams. Very low accountability. Archaic document control methods. For a company in the healthcare business you would think they would care more for their employee's health and provide a real, competitive health insurance. Expect to pay up the wazoo for healthcare.
