      Pros

      Decent compensation. Stock options and bonus if goals are met.

      Cons

      Expectation to work long hours. Aggressive goals determine bonus. Not much opportunity for career advancement.

      Pros

      There is a good, positive culture in the company underpinned by an excellent and engaged team. Whilst there are challenges, it is life changing technology for people with diabetes. You can proud to work for Dexcom given the effect that it has on customers' lives (I have been hugged by a customer just because I work for Dexcom!).

      Cons

      The rapid growth will mean that working at Dexcom is not for everybody. Many processes are being developed and will change. Therefore don't expect to be given clear direction as you need to find your own way and learn more everyday (there is usually not a "operating manual" that will cover everything). I love this but it won't be for everyone. Do not expect a 9-5 job. Be willing to make mistakes, be accountable, learn and find a better way.
