Pros

Pretty good benefits package in terms of paid time offs.

Cons

The people that get promoted are not neccessarily the most competent individuals, but more of people that can brag or exaggerate their achievements at the bank.

Pros

Deutsche Bank is an investment bank (as well as commercial in non-US regions) of rising global / local reputation and clout. As a result, employee quality will hopefully rise over time.

Cons

Business units are independent, hardened silos with little cross pollination of ideas and/or services that could be exploited for greater corporate gain. This is due to the highly political and territorial nature of businesses whose management were headhunted from other top tier banks (or integrated via acquisition) and are therefore deeply distrustful of the motives of colleagues whom they perceive as political adversaries contesting for the same pot of gold.
