Pros

Deutsche Bank is so large that one can easily know where other open and interesting positions are. From what I have seen, it is not too difficult to move between department, which is a plus. Also there are some nice perks, such as 4 months of maternity leave and unlimited sick days through the year. The bank has a number of DBPerks which gives you discounts from airlines to Apple computers. The fact the Bank is truly global gives your the ability to relocate if you want to. The tuition reimbursement policy is pretty good, and there are also plenty of courses offered by the bank.

Cons

There is a lot of bureaucracy and there is not standard of "perks" through the bank. Some departments get certain perks, while others don't. Of course, if you work in the bank offices you don't get as many privileges and it always feels like your job is on the line, or that you are a cost or nuisance. The offices in Midtown are pretty ugly and many people dislike the open architecture. Unfortunately, it seems that's the way many banks are going. Also, the secretarial support is the worst, at least in my department. In general it seems that it is nearly impossible to fire low performing employees, which in my opinion brings down the moral of entire departments. That is truly an unfortunate aspect of the Bank. It may be that this limited to my department, but it should not be the case.

Pros

Stable Company that does not take that many risks. You can be assured that there is alot of job stability compared to other large banks during these times.

Cons

Just as with any other bank...fixed income is in the garbage everywhere in the world. You really can't do anything about that right now. Promotions and raises only happen once during the year. You get stuck being promoted but not really until they come around and do the adjustment.

Pros

DB is a relatively young company in the Americas and is still growing, and has an atmosphere that encourages free thinking and innovation. Management is very willing to communicate with interns (not sure about analysts/associates) as is everyone else at the firm. People seem very congenial overall. Training program is pretty good.

Cons

Not all the people are completely competent. Some seem to have been hired due to connections. Also there is a fair amount of corporate bureaucracy, as is to be expected at a firm this size.
