It has good benefits. Compensation can be good if the market is good.

Cons

I fee like they are glass ceilings for professional advancement. I always get the approval of doing well but yet i am still wiating for a promotion and i have been working for three year.

- Strong and stable in current environment - Ability to make an impact quickly in a currently unprofessional IT department - Only IB recruiting currently IT staff! - Currently large investment in IT

Cons

- Very political - Very little knowledge sharing - Very silo'd - Heavily outsource - Useless central service teams (as at most other IBs) - No architectural guidance either central or within department - Almost a public school environment, lots of use of surnames
