Large bank with presence across the globe

Pros

Large Bank with complex systems. Exposure to global programs. Generous vacation days. Good health benefits. Very good retirement benefits. Pay is comparable to other firms

Cons

Politics at middle and senior management levels. Of late the qualtily of hires have been very poor. Lack of transparency in promotion process. Lack of transparency in strageic goals.

Hours are not bad and people are very nice.

Cons

Very difficult to move. Promotions notbased on performance but length of time. People are still left over from Bankers trust and very under qualifid Not your typical investment banking environment very laxed and unprofessional at times The bonus structure is not what it use to be.
