Pros

Benefits are good. Coming from Morgan Stanley, that's a big deal. There is a lot of responsibility placed on IT folks. Competent people can have a big impact.

Cons

Trading systems are not world class; not even close. Well, equities at least, FX is top-notch. Work in NY, senior mgt is in Europe and they try to apply "well it worked in London" theory to any new initiative or org change. Local mgt is good, off shore mgt rots.
