Pros
Strong brand name and good exposure to corporate environment Good policies around employee security and structured processes Opportunity to learn depending on project and team
Cons
Overall experience depends heavily on the project and management. My experience was challenging due to a misaligned domain and an unsupportive management style, along with noticeable office politics affecting growth and recognition. Concerns include slow and inconsistent promotions, and poor work-life balance—especially during peak times, often requiring extra responsibilities and weekend work. There is often an overburden of additional tasks beyond defined responsibilities, and such efforts may go unrecognized—especially for those not in favor with management—leading to contributions being overshadowed
