Pros

Name recognition, good benefits (but not on project delivery track).

Cons

They want people to work for free to write proposals and work for something for Deloitte which may not lead to anything. Many practitioners spend a lot of time on phone to do that and then have to spend more time from home to rack up hours. Management doesn't care about how good or bad the actual work is. The only thing that matters is the impression and how many hours the client is being gouged for. On project delivery track the extra free work is not required but the benefits are extremely limited (2 weeks of paternity / maternity leave vs 8 weeks, only 4 week bench time vs 3 months).

Pros

They pat little better than consulting but at cost of ur time. Very bad work life balance. Spend some time in lift or corridor, u will get to know reality as u can simply overhear employees.

Cons

I was with the Deloitte usi Mumbai for more than a year. During initial week I felt I join a firm which is different than other consulting but my dream breaks with a blink of eye and I realize 1. Misuse of Word "Networking" (If u smoke/Drink with management, u go up). No once bother about u even u've served client with no issue and 0 code defect 2. If you are technical guys, the firm is simply not for you and once you spend 2 years in firm it is hard to crack next interviews. 3. Testing, Testing and only Testing. Ppl endup 80% of time doing manual testing on technology they do aware of. 4. Very Long working hrs, Min 12 to 15 hrs a day normally (official + unofficial PPT/Plan/Hotel booking) and regular weekend. 5. When u go for Interview, just make sure spend time in lift/corridor/parking u will get really spot check. 6. My Onshore lead told me "We are here for work and not to make friend", They treat u like robot. 7. Even you are expert in technology, Management will send non technology/Old favourite guy to onsite and once they land onsite they make ur life hell as they do not know anything about technology.

Pros

Good parties, scope to learn and international exposure

Cons

complete sweat shop, the US managers just sit on Indian counterparts and they have no skills whatsoever. Very little accountability and bad managerial attitude . Its a dead end for folks in shared services, no proper hike if you stay in the company for long.
