      Pros

      Looks good on a resume. Government experience. You may get lucky and land an easy project.

      Cons

      If you already have a good job, do not leave it to join Deloitte. Long hours, no work life balance. Pay looks good, but with all of the extra hours worked your hourly rate is actually very low. Culture is cutthroat. All they care about is money you make them. Management just wants to utilize you as much as they can. Mostly single, divorced, or people with no family or friends. Lots of competition. You can't take vacation as it will hurt your "utilization". Kills your family, social, and personal life. Stress. Pressure.

      Pros

      You get name recognition on your resume, that’s about all the good I can see about Deloitte. I have not enjoyed my time here

      Cons

      -worst 401k matching I’ve seen. 25% up to 6%. You put in 6%, they put in 1.5% -worked to the bone. I travel every single week and barely have enough time to have dinner. Expected to be available and on calls at every hour of the day. -detrimental to health. Gaining weight, losing sleep, and depressing. -the rudest people I’ve ever worked with. Everyone in this company is a jerk. The most condescending and stuck up people I have ever met. -lies during recruiting. I gave up a lot for this job and they refused to give me a signing bonus. They told me, “we do not give signing bonuses anymore.” Only to meet a person who received a signing bonus the same week I was hired. -disconnect between project and HR. We constantly receive emails from HR about well-being, and how we need to take vacations and evenings and weekends to ourselves. Can someone please tell the partners this? I am expected to work every weekend, evening, and was actually told to take my work laptop out of the country while I was on vacation. -cannot take vacation. You are expected to be at a certain utilization rate. When you take vacation, your utilization goes down which impacts bonus/raise/review. You are negatively impacted when taking vacation. I have never been as depressed as I am now, all thanks to Deloitte.

      Pros

      Great opportunities to develop skills, knowledge, work with teams and clients on interesting challenges.

      Cons

      I reported serious sexual harassment by a partner, and senior leadership did nothing. They protected him, instead of helping me. It was unconscionable considering the company’s curated image of inclusion, ethics, and support of women.
