      Great learning experience, but they need to work on their review process and make sure to pay their top employees

      Pros

      They do a good job of knowledge sharing and trying to stress work-life balance. Certain senior managers and partners are also good about making sure you have a valuable learning experience.

      Cons

      The rewards/recognition and compensation don't really follow your contributions to the firm and your clients. Senior management also needs to work on the review process. Right now, too much is placed on the politics and not enough emphasis is being placed on the actual work being done. And, the top performers should really be compensated for their hard work. I can't count the number of top performers who leave to go elsewhere because Deloitte was not giving them the raises that they deserved (myself included).

      Pros

      Very professional, respectable, knowledgeable, Industry leader. Great overall experience that will give a wonderful birds eye or specific focus on clients depending on your interests while interning. The coworkers are very helpful in aquainting you with the work and help fitting in. One of the most appreciated points was the level of work recieved. As an intern I was doing the same work as the first year sitting right next to me. That really created a positive atmosphere where you knew even as an intern you were respected.

      Cons

      I did not see many downsides, perhaps the only things that effected me was the long work hours but that you are compensated for as well as providing you with real work place experience. The time can be pretty burdensome occasionally. The pressure to meet deadlines can be challenging but i feel that the experience of it adds to the quality of the program in a way aswell.

      Pros

      The best reasons to work for Deloitte is the equity you build in yourself with their brand name which can lead to more lucrative positions later on in your career. The people you encounter are top notch professionals and the training is second to none. Deloitte also has a commitment to diversity which is unrivaled by other firms. I have experienced this first hand through various engagements and it is very commendable.

      Cons

      Your pay is on par with the industry even though you work for the industry leader. You also have to dedicate yourself to putting work before anything else.
