      Pros

      The people that you work with are intelligent and most of them are team players. There is a steep learning curve the first couple of years so you have an opportunity to learn a lot in a short span of time.

      Cons

      The longer you have been with the organization, the more likely you are to feel unappreciated. That is because you are putting in the long hours and are not getting the recognition for it. This is a top heavy company so the opportunities for advancement past manager/senior manager are limited.

      On Consulting side, projects are fairly short which means you have the opportunity to experience different types of work and business environments on a regular basis

      Cons

      Per the nature of Consulting, hours can be long and travel may be required. Additionally, there is a high level of variability in competence and leadership ability of senior staff - some are great, some not so much, which can lead to fantastic or terrible project experiences
