      Pros

      great people - smart and motivated ample opportunities for personal and career growth great for just starting out strong network of current and former colleagues

      Cons

      - work/life balance is nonexistent if you want to make partner - internal politics can be taxing - review/performance feedback is subjective and somewhat unfair - sometimes behind the market curve

      Pros

      There are a lot of good and knowledgable people to work with. This only applies to people close to your level, those above tend to not care or create an enviornment that will foster your growth and the growth of the company.

      Cons

      There are many downsides to working here. You are frequently overworked and taken advantage of and management has no regard for your personal life. Pay is very limited especially considering the amount of hours you work. Promotions are frequently given out without much thought and is all about perception and not the strength of the individual. Management constantly conducts closed door meetings and is very secretive about how things are being ran. When asked for answers you will get the run around or no answer at all.

      Pros

      Deloitte is one of the best places to begin a carrier with ample guidance being provided due to a culture of mentoring in the firm.

      Cons

      Deloitte is in the bottom one third of compensation paid to employees vis-a-vis competitors. The bide your time attitude in audit practice sometimes is disturbing.
