      Pros

      Deloitte is a great place to start your career fi you're interested in accounting or even if you're not sure what path to take. It has consistenly ranked in Forbe's top 10 companies to start at your career at and opens lots of doors for you to figure out what you want to do if you want to leave the firm.

      Cons

      As with all other public accounting firms it is difficult to find the work life balalnce that everyone talks about. This is simply the nature of the job and is the same for any big 4 employee. The work schedule is often unpredictable, there are long hours and you have to work to accomodate the schedule and deadlines of your client and your superiors.

      - Difficult to move around in the company - Lack of communication from Management about key issues happening in the company

      Benefits, engagement opportunities (depending on who you know), good people (depending on the office), pretty good information sharing within service lines, some work life balance

      Cons

      An opaque and quite frankly, bizarre and absurd promotion and admission process; very poor integration between different functions (i.e., audit and tax); way too many layers of management.
