Pros
This job was a great way to be exposed to the intense training system that the big four incorporate. A lot of the training is unnecessary and should be replaced with more worthwhile trainiing, but it shows you that the company is trying to really train and develop its employees.
Cons
Because of the recession, Deloitte was the top accounting firm to cut jobs immediately instead of looking for other options. Therefore, I would have to say as a first year, this was not the "best place to launch my career."
