-Could get lucky and get a data science project -Can learn a lot when you have free time (free courses) -Lots of interesting people and easy to make connections

Cons

-Probably won't get data science work -Always have to worry about utilization (hard to get raises and bonuses because there is no meaningful work) -Highly Toronto focused -Very low pay for a data scientist
