Pros

Paid above market + quarterly bonus that can exceed the cap.

Cons

Either you’re on the bandwagon (or not). Don’t dare ask questions that challenge senior management, or prepared to be looked over in the future. Highly political atmosphere - again, don’t ask Q’s on why things are being done certain ways. Budget cuts since Q3 for remainder of year. Hard to get job done when you can’t travel for work.

Pros

Benefits Brands Previous experience / credentials of many employees

Cons

In short- 1. Directors and senior leadership team , the majority of whom would never ever show integrity and support their subordinates. They changed their minds, changed direction. Everyone was so lost and unmotivated. Many people were leaving. 2. They verbally promote their CODE behaviours which include Openess and Honesty. This is laughable as they are anything but. Be prepared to be stabbed in the back. 3. Clarity. They had none during my time there. They had some amazing people working there such as ex Kraft, J&J, Unilever who had thrives in those businesses but once they got to Danone, they were treated badly- no integrity, no respect, no care. Many many people simply walked out, found other jobs or succumbed to stress.

Pros

Interesting markets. Nice environment. Relaxed. Profitable so benefits agreeable.

Cons

Worked here for 10 years, in 3 separate stints. Was paid to leave twice! It always starts well, they give you your head and support initiative but gradually you get bogged down in the usual corporate bull$41t. My headline comes from a long period of seeing the best jobs being increasingly filled by non-uk nationals, basically your chances of a senior position are much improved if you ar from France (or any other non-uk country). In addition, the slow erosion of employees value seems to be ageist, the longer you work there and the more mature you are the less they value you. If conmtemplating a job there assume it will now=t be a long-term one.
