We appreciate your feedback! We aim to provide opportunities to work on exciting projects alongside a diverse and collaborative team, and we're happy to hear that's what you're experiencing while working at DPR. We also know building interesting projects sometimes requires long hours or commutes. We encourage our teammates to use one of our best-in-class benefits, including PTO, to make sure they have the chance to recharge.

Good Experience

Pros

Good experience at a reputable company. There are people who are willing to help you understand construction and ways to conduct business. Pay was better compared to similar companies assuming you work normal hours. Utilized certain programs that made work more efficient compared to other companies. Active efforts amongst peers, supervisor and upper management to have you engaged in the organization and build up your career. Emphasis on inclusion and building relationships among all employees.

Cons

Disorganization and mismanagement across the board. Having a flat organization is great for establishing mutual respect amongst all employees and a feeling of ownership to the project, but it can create chaos, lack of direction and expectation of having additional responsibilities that are not within your job description. Work/Life Balance is not good and expect to work long hours. Getting promoted takes longer compared to other companies even if you're over qualified for the position. Turnover is becoming more of a problem. You can have difficult people on your team that will make your projects miserable. Constant unnecessary tension between SPW and GC teams.
