No work-life balance, they take 40 % of your money in a sham tax system. owners and managers are dreadful.

As stated previously, you get paid. I got paid $14/hr and $21/hr for every hour past closing. It seems nice, but most nights you stay late. The only people I really liked were the sales managers, but even then, that's one of many other departments you'll have to work with.

Cons

Poor treatment of fellow employees. False promises made by higher-ups. No progression or mention of how to do that. Most customers yell at you for things beyond your control. Some bribery. Not great parking, at all. Being delegated duties not listed in the job description. Probably some more. I was told once a receptionist was leaving because it was closing time, but because they hadn't asked the owner's permission to leave, they were fired on the spot. Not the worst place in the world, but I was definitely unlucky. Oh and you're usually stepped on and disrespected only because you make the least there, but provide the most essential function: the customer.
