Enjoyable job. Talking to members is fun and you get to know many of them very well. Leading classes is great and helps you to stay in shape. Helping members reach their goals is rewarding. I am sure that employee experiences vary based on local ownership - I was fortunate to work under a wonderful local owner.

Cons

Finding marketing leads can be challenging and after awhile, it can seem that the local market is saturated.

Pros

The ladies that came into work were usually a hoot and I loved talking with them. You can workout pretty much any time you want.

Cons

Curves are expensive to own and our owner was loosing money which turned her into a horrible person and she took her declining financial situation out on us. Calling people to sign is annoying. And there were so many new deals that weren’t properly explained we never knew what the price to sign up was.
