Pros

Started and spent the last 2.5 years in a Big 4, moving to Crowe is the best thing that has ever happened in my career. People are extremely helpful and nice, like forreal nice. All you need to know will be in their portal. No BS rallying for work life balance like bog 4 do, they just do it like its normal. I'm never in the office, and would say traveled twice for the past 3 months I'm here. I always work from home which is a pro to me being able to save tons of travel time to the city, and all the perks you get working from home. IT Audit team is very attentive to your needs, they really make you feel valued. You're definitely getting paid what you worked for. During busy season, it can be pretty crazy but that's the norm in every accounting firm. Though with the amount of flexibility and ownership you get, its like work less BS micromanaging and toxic people so the amount of stress level is not the same. And the amount of exposure you get working with multiple companies at the same time is insane! Definitely a great way to build personal career growth. Everybody is respectful of your time especially your PTO. As long as you book them ahead of time, they will be eagered to move things around to make sure you get your PTO. No sick leave but you start with 160 hours of PTO which you can use anytime. I never thought its possible, but with the amount of flexibility you get here, you'll struggle to think how to spend all your PTO hours. There's still tons of things Crowe offers, until now it still amazes me how possible it is to have a company that got it all.. of course.. as long as you put in the hardwork. It is honestly the company you would never want to leave. This place will make you appreciate work every single day..

Cons

There's not enough training for newcomers. Aside from onboarding and webcast, it would be nice if there is an actual week or 2 to really train people coming from other companies and teach them the Crowe way. This will save everybody tons of time trying to figure things out on their own and reaching out to current employees who are also loaded with work. As for the ownership, this can be a pro or con. I like being creative with my schedule and put a lot of judgement with what I do, so I love the amount of ownership you get here. They'll give you a project and you have to figure out how to complete it. No micromanaging. It can be pretty hard if you're used to being told what to do. This place needs needs independency or it can eat you alive. But because people are extremely nice, you won't have a problem reaching out to them for help.
