Pros

The consulting practice in Chicago is very young, and very willing to give young people a high level of responsibility. Staff members are expected to deliver client facing presentations within a month and the ramp up time for interns is even shorter. With most of the partners of the practice base din Nashville or Grand Rapids, the office environment is very relaxed.

Cons

The largest downside is the project, and as a result client, dependency. You could absolutely love the team you're working with internally, but as with any other consulting practice there is little control over the client.

It's an accounting firm so it can be conservative but things are moving in the right direction.

Pros

I enjoyed my time with Crowe; the people were nice, management was mostly professional, and getting to travel often was fun. A lot of the employees are party people, which could be cool, but also tiring after a while.

Cons

The work could get stressful, and continuous after-hours work was expected. Definitely not your typical 9 to 5 job.
