Pros

Overall great atmosphere and generally great co-workers. Strive to maintain good morale and promote general well-being of employees. Flexibility not of with the 'where to work' policy, but also with getting employees working on the type of that really interests them. Provide a lot of resources for professional and personal development.

Cons

Not so much a 'Crowe' Con, but maybe just an industry con that it is difficult to anticipate where the busier hours will fall and how to best schedule resources.

Pros

The culture and environment at Crowe convinced me to go into public accounting. I could not think of a better learning environment. Peers and superiors are more than willing to help new staff get acclimated and learn the ropes. The firm also helps maintain a healthy work/life balance with the mobility policy.

Cons

With focus on deep specialization, it can be hard to get good in an area out of your focus.

Pros

Work from home is an option

Cons

▪ They entice you in the interview with promises of lots of perks but most of those promises don't happen. Lie to you in the interview, tell you you'll receive training and working on certain projects and they conveniently change their mind when you are hired. ▪ They promised a mentor would be assigned and that never happened. ▪ Employees who flat out lie and sabotage fellow team members to make themselves look good and because they feel threatened when a new person joins the team, and incompetent managers who allow that to happen. ▪ No formal training programs and no real investment in their employees. ▪ They just want to chew you up, burn you out, and spit you out. ▪ Catty, toxic work environment, clicky, lots of blaming and pointing fingers, throwing newbies under the bus. ▪ Very negative managers who want you to tickle their ears and tell them what they want to hear and not rock the boat. Managers play favorites a lot and stick up for their buddies while throwing you under the bus. ▪ Make you feel like a pariah from the get-go. Not included in team activities
