Pros

Good Salary Good PTO Good Benefits Good exposure to industry

Cons

Management is only concerned with their own well-being. You will never get acknowledged for the hard work and effort you put in. Instead they will just ask more. Work/Life Balance is a joke.

Pros

The ability to work from home anytime you are not on a client is a plus - sure beats taking the subway every morning.

Cons

There is no culture. They shout how great their culture is from the rooftops - but 95% of your interaction with humans comes via Skype Chat. Most people work from home every day - and when you do go to the office there is no one there, and those that are there often just brush past you with cold looks. The work is boring. There is no passion, no drive. People log on to collect their paychecks. The NY office is depressing. All grey everything - high cubical walls - and generally a deafening silence between 9-5 - like people are afraid to makes noise or have fun. Productivity is at an all time low. I know most of my colleagues that work from home spent half their days doing things other than client work. And most of those on client sites spend half their time waiting on documents for review. There is no urgency, and frankly not enough work to go around. Staff employees are constantly pinging me on Skype asking for work because they have been on the bench for not weeks, but months! If you are looking to work hard and gain real experience you are much better off working for a big 4 firm - they offer more opportunities and stability. In terms of stability - a bunch of people were laid off in the last quarter because of how poorly the firm has performed this year. The opportunities aren't nearly as great as other companies. If you are truly looking for exposure as a consultant, look elsewhere.

Pros

Being able to work remotely is great when you need to change things up in your life. It's nice working in a tight nit group that specializes in the IT area - it makes you feel like a critical part of the firm. Always learning something new everyday and, if necessary, colleagues are there to explain something if you're not familiar with it.

Cons

Lack of communication between project leads and rest of team, occasionally. Often times there is a lack of clients and you will be put on the bench without work, forcing you to work on internal projects. Often times someone might have a problem with something you're doing and not communicate it with you, which can come back and bite you.
