Cons

Crocs looks for any and all opportunities to pay you as little as possible. You are not compensated based on store volume, and you typically make $10,000 - $20,000 less than you should be making for your stores volume. District managers that are outside hires have absolutely no idea what they're doing, so they rely on store managers to make any and all decisions and clean up other store managers mess. The district manager for Mid-Atlantic never went to a store to help in the year that I worked with them. There's a plethora of ethical issues that are ongoing that never seem to get addressed even when HR gets involved. Constantly changing every aspect of your job. There is 0 consistency in anything that you do. Crocs feels like a brand that grew so fast it's still in its infancy and has no idea how to keep up with the demand so the answer is to change policy and procedures weekly and implement useless busywork that contributes nothing towards the success of your store. You are not empowered to lead, grow or develop anyone or anything. You will be reprimanded for thinking like an individual and disagreeing with decisions that are made by anyone higher than you. Management is extremely selective about what rules are enforced, area managers and district managers will neglect doing a visit on your store for a year but then reprimand you for something small or silly. Everyone above you can completely neglect their duties except for you. Stay away at all costs, I spent 6 years with this company and my parting gift was HR not even contacting me for an exit interview. I've never felt as dehumanized then when I worked at this company.
