      Pros

      Products tend to be market segment leaders.

      Cons

      Management tends towards being risk adverse and will not move forward without a designated scapegoat. Rampant cronyism throughout the company discourages any real innovation from occurring. Going on three straight quarters of budget cuts and spending freezes.

      Many opportunities to move in the company (so long as it's somewhere else). Good pay.

      Cons

      Pay for salaried Supervisors took a major hit after the Medtronic acquisition. Supervisors at this plant are now expected to work over the weekend, once a month, for 12 hours each day for free. In the past, we would be paid straight time for the OT. This effectively cut the pay by over $10,000/year. A lot of in-fighting with management, resulting in high turnover of high level management.

      Reliability Engineering group dissolved at covidien medtronic hyderabad because of incapable ,inexperience manager and leadership. everyone from the reliability group left the company because of non visibility to the engineer to their work and only visibility to the manager
