      Pros

      Good company to work for. plenty of things going on. Great technologies. Very good benefits and depending on the manager you will get your share of visibility too.

      Cons

      management keeps things close to vest. It would be nice to get informed whenever there is a change (which is a constant thing at Covidien). so it will definitely help to keep employees informed.

      Friendly coworkers and summer hours from Memorial Day to Labor Day. You can learn a lot about the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

      Cons

      Management that does not know how to manage development and manufacturing costs. Lots of blaming of others for mistakes. Managers try to use fear to motivate employees; it does not work.
