This is a great position to get your feet wet and food and beverage. In addition to the years of experience you have in running the rooms department.

Cons

The restaurant isn’t really run like a full service operation and you often have to make do with limited staff. I have found cross training solves a lot of these problems though.

Upper management pushed a very cut throat and toxic work environment with little to no training.
