The environment is friendly and there is opportunity to cross train or be promoted.

Cons

Often times the hiring process can be a revolving door, to the point where there are new and lost employees every couple of weeks.

Pros

I love the hotel industry, so the pros really come from that. My family and I love the Marriott discounts.

Cons

Hours are set and not flexible at all. Management is a little scattered and there’s not a clear hierarchy of authority. Pay is not great and a raise doesn’t come until you’ve worked there for at least 1 year.
