Pros

The environment is really nice and it would be a great first job to those getting acclimated in the food service industry - plus the benefits are great

Cons

The management determines how everything turns out. For the one I work, the lack of communication with management made it hard for our team to not only get what we need as employees, but for us to feel seen and heard as people trying to make a living.

Low pay and bad hours

Pros

Good discounts on hotel rooms if you travel - if the hotel makes it mark on reviews you can get a decent bonus. Room for advancement .

Cons

Going to have some pretty inconsistent shifts - lots of nights , weekend and holidays. The computer system isn’t the best and could do a better job training you. At night your left alone so if it gets busy or something doesn’t go right you have to fend for yourself. Not sure if pay has gone up but for $13 an hour working those kinda hours / shifts wasn’t worth it
