Pros
The Front Desk Manager when I worked there was great and the pay was decent. I liked working independently at night and missed 90% of the drama going on during the day
Cons
The management running the hotel was a hot mess and the day shift always had some high school level drama going on. I'm not sure if they fixed it since I left, but the front doors were broken so they could be pushed open easily without a key. Management also had a hard time holding onto a night time houseman so I would have to leave the desk multiple times at night to run towel or whatever to guests. They also had no security onsite so I would be on property alone with the local homeless people trying to break into the lobby. And there was a door to the meeting rooms in the basement that didn't lock from the outside so homeless people would enter through that way and would sleep down there when it got cold out. It wasn't a daily problem but still an issue since they would get quite angry and confrontational when asked to leave.
