Sales reps beware

Pros

Sales incentive trip is good.

Cons

Customer service is awful. Sales reps come and go like the wind so don't bring in many personal items for your cube. If your a good rep don't waste your time here for low pay.

Pros

Some businesses inside FleetCor like AllStar and core fuel card platform development are good. Very good benefits systems in the UK

Cons

The company have no vision what to do in the long run. No investment into development of new technologies and services. Company IT Delivery team is in total mess: no processes, minimum procedures and constant avoidance of responsibility. Lots of politics. There is a small number of people who are trying hard to keep everything running. I was repeatedly told this is "FleetCor way" of work and I had to get on with it. UK HR function is a total shamble when it comes to difficult situations - doesn't care about people's circumstances and what happens with these people in the future when HR make decisions "according to a book".

Employee Beware

Pros

Decent health, dental, and vision insurance, but that's it

Cons

In its pursuit for greatness., FLT has frequently exploited and abused the employees that helped get them there. I worked in an office which was consistently treated as if we were the wicked stepchildren of the headquarters located in Norcross, GA. Myself and 17 other people were laid off in Nov 2015 when FLT bought Comdata. They so generously offered us the opportunity to move from Louisiana to Tennessee, which they knew was not going to happen, in order for us to keep our jobs. While they did give us six weeks severance, the way they went about the actual process was a total disaster. Things ended up working out for the best, though - if I hadn't have gotten laid off from that God awful place, I would never have been able to pursue the other opportunities now in front of me.
