Pros

They have taken a great number of steps to be a better environment for their CSR employees as this was not always the case: Training has goal of ensuring you have needed knowledge and tactics to serve customers, managers while I was there seemed open to and encouraging feedback. Very focused on employee wellness mentally and physically. Company was working on chances for employee advancement.

Cons

Sometimes supervisor emphasis on call availability got in the way of ensuring quality in other areas, could seem to micro-manage when it came to evaluation. If there were other negatives I did not have firsthand experience, not to say there aren't any

Pros

CooperVision is good at what they do. The company has a very good strategy which result in a fast growth rate compare to market. Just look at how the stock price grow from 2008 till now. Very friendly management team, passionate co-worker. Micro-managing is the taboo word around here so you won't ever have a Big brother watching over your back. Good work-life balance. If you work in the right department, frequent travel is a bonus. Management do the best to promote health and wellness, which is expected from a health care device company.

Cons

The pay rate is on the lower side for the Bay Area. Company is currently integrating to new technology platform so everything is chaotic. Expect this trend to continue for the next couple of years. Heavily dependent on other office. Even with new platform, the company is on the low tech side, so some people with high technical skills feel under utilized.
