      When first hired, I was skeptical of the Values and Beliefs; I felt that many companies had statements like this but few actually lived by them. I must honestly say that after a year being here, Convergint truly strives to live by these principles. I find it remarkable! The overall model of the company allows for significant divergence of methods and approaches. This allows creativity and problem solving, which is a good thing. It can also be a con...

      There are still some significant disconnects between business processes; however, the company has experienced prodigious growth, and has many internal projects to deal with these disconnects. "The overall model of the company allows for significant divergence of methods and approaches." (a pro, but...) This prevents streamlining the processes to some extent and makes it a little more difficult to maintain continuity. However, I think this is more than compensated by the overall spirit within the workforce.
