Pros

General freedom to complete projects as I saw best. Management was hands off. Mergers and acquisitions occuring that led to management not able to micromanage.

Cons

Communication was one sided about short term items and objectives (employee to management). A strategic direction was set, but due to ongoing acquisitions, the direction kept changing or didn't seem to have action.

1. More a local than a global company mentality 2. Benefits not as good as previous (American) company 3. Project and short timeline causes 'If customers don't complain, it means we got away with it' mentality 4.

Pros

I worked with an excellent group of engineers on challenging problems and projects. Workload was not too much and balanced among teams.

Cons

It is uncertain on how long the company will remain in Chatham since the manufacturing was moved out, though some money was brought in for additional testing equipment.
