Pros

The only reason to work here is because you need a job immediately and cannot afford to look a little bit longer, or because you haven't worked enough other places to know that everywhere is not like this. Some of the people there are nice, though.

Cons

The pay is low, the job itself is awful, and benefits are withheld until you've been there for six months, but my biggest complaint is that employees are treated like children or criminals. You can get written up for being one minute late from a break. You aren't even trusted with access to company email, or the ability to take a payment. They act like they EXPECT you to try to steal company or customer information at any time. They even try to tell you you can't even use your phone in the bathroom because "someone might record you," as if a creep who was planning to illegally record someone while using the bathroom would care that it was against company policy. Training was mostly just sitting around doing nothing or getting fussed at for minutiae. But worst of all, once you are on the phones, good luck. There are not even enough chairs for all the people they've hired, and there is not remotely enough help and support to go around. If you do get someone to notice that you need help, they frequently give information that ends up being totally incorrect, or act like THEY don't know the answer either and wish you hadn't asked! This has happened MULTIPLE times in my short time at the company. I feel terrible for the customers that I KNOW I was telling the wrong thing to, but the person "helping" me was right over my shoulder, so I felt like I had to say what they were telling me to! Sometimes they even push back on helping you at all, even when you explain that you've already tried what they're telling you to do. It's just ridiculous. I am normally the kind of person who can just go with the flow and get through whatever happens at my job, but I pray every day that somewhere else I've applied to will call me back.

Work too much for little pay

Pros

I work with really great people, always willing to help whenever there is a problem.

Cons

When you get hired on you drop $2 an hour!! You go from making $13 an hour to $11 if you get hired on full time instead of being project based. Which is backwards to me, really. And that's not enough pay for what I have to deal with. I'm a call center agent and I have to talk to 65+ older people all day. They are so rude. I take calls for Humana Pharmacy. You do not get paid enough to deal with those people. And there is way too much mandatory overtime. Last week I was expected to work 50 hours. Not happening. I have a life and 2 kids, there is no way someone can work that much.
