Pros
It's a job. As opposed to other segments of the food service industry, you are off work on most of the major holidays. Free food. You develop some serious camaraderie with some of your fellow workers.
Cons
The health insurance is quite awful; high deductibles along with high co-premiums. Of course, no pension plan, just a 401k with low employer matching. The company speak-up hotline is a waste of time. They do very little to thwart management bullies. A lot of verbal hostility toward subordinates is tolerated within the company.
