Pros

Truly, only a few select I conversate with and I watch what I say.

Cons

The challenges are not getting your verification of hours worked on a weekly basis. You have to ask management then they have a lie waiting as to why they are unable to provide the information. You have various people not doing 12-13 hour shifts, HR is a joke, you was hired for one job title, but when you start working management have you doing five jobs. I've worked under these conditions less than two months and in the process giving my two week notice.

Pros

My hourly staff was very good. They were hard-working and reliable but had a bad attitude that was brought about by the upper level management. Other than my staff, there are no pros to this company.

Cons

NO work-life balance. This company is the worst. The account was perpetually under-staffed and it seemed to be that way on purpose. The middle management / chefs worked 70 to 80 hour weeks with no compensation or appreciation - as though that was expected. The upper level managers take and take and take. They are abusive and do nothing but berate the employees. This was by far the worst working experience I have had in my 30 year career. When I quit, my other managers and most of the hourly staff quit as well.

Pros

Benefits are decent, but it has to be because your mental and physical health will fade rapidly!

Cons

Middle management has absolutely no power, nor respect in the company. Hourly staff has more protection then unit chef managers. The plan is simple over promise clients and find a shmuck who will sacrifice everything to make it happen. If u have a family, stay away! Upper management is sneaky, contradictive, and yes a little racist. I ran 2 accounts within this company and the unit support comes 2nd to covering their own butt. You are on an island, you do all the work, and no one appreciates a thing. If your a person of color be prepared to be held to a much higher expectation then your colleagues. The smaller the unit the worse it is! Do not take a position as a manager with less than a 6 person staff, you will have to sacrifice all but your soul to succeed.
